Membership with the British Columbia Wine Authority is voluntary, and all wineries in the province are welcome to join and choose the level to which they participate.
Members receive voting privileges on industry regulations and at our Annual General Meeting, and pay a flat “all inclusive” fee, covering the cost of membership, grape levies, audits and wine certification.
Two flat fee options:
- $300 – up to 20 tonnes, includes levy and 5 wine submissions.
- $650 – up to 40 tonnes, includes levy and 8 wine submissions.
- Over 40 tonnes – the grape levy is $10 per standard ton, $65 for inspection fee and $100 per wine submission.
Joining the British Columbia Wine Authority provides wineries with the opportunity to participate in industry discussions and the BCVQA program which helps to ensure truth in labelling and general quality of wines produced in BC.
